Knowledge as a Strategic Resource: the Methodological Foundations of Research

The article considers knowledge and information from the point of view of influence on human life, the role of knowledge in the modern world. Various approaches of understanding knowledge and information, differentiation of concepts of information society and knowledge society are considered. It is suggested that pseudo-knowledge is a stepping stone to the emergence of fundamental knowledge and is part of its development. Man in the modern era receives a huge amount of information, which leads him to “information shock”.

Reflection of the Concepts “Spirit” and “I” in Nonclassical Philosopy

This article is devoted to the research of the problem of the interconnection of consciousness, self-consciousness and spirit in the works of representatives of nonclassical philosophy. The subject of the study is the reflection of the concepts “I” and “spirit” in the writings of representatives of nonclassical philosophy. First of all, the work analyzes different, sometimes diametrically opposed, views of representatives of nonclassical philosophy on the interconnection of the concepts “spirit” and “I”.

N. Taleb's “Black Swan” as a Philosophical Reflexation of Riskogenic Society

The research focus of the publication is the theory of the “Black Swan” of the modern philosopher N. Taleb, which is considered in the context of the risky measurement of society. “Black Swans” – events that have extremely low predictability, in terms of their impact, can dramatically transform the world. Today, the society is filled with extremely unpredictable events, which make its development as vague as possible.

Foundation of Eucharistic Metaphysics in “Christ in the world” by S. Bulgakov

The article considers the ontological significance of the Eucharistic theology by S. Bulgakov, as it is presented in his works «Christ in the world» (1940). The author considers some prerequisites for development of this type of ontology in the framework of biblical Revelation about the creation of the world. The obstacles to building an adequate ontology of creation and incarnation in the traditional European metaphysics, since the latter is based on platono-Aristotelian model of the Cosmos is self-sufficient. The Teaching of Maximus the Confessor about the Logoi and Tropoi

The article examines the teaching of Maximus the Confessor about the logoi and tropoi and observes the usage of the main principles of this teaching for the theoretical basis of Orthodox Missiology (Ministry Studies). The author emphasizes that the main problem of development of Missiology as a theological discipline is the lack of proper theological base, which is necessary for understanding the principles and logic of dissemination of God’s word within society.

Kondratiev's Cyclic Approach to the Description of Structural Changes in the Technosphere

The article discloses the relationship of economic methodological approaches. Kondratieff with new methodological ideas of the philosophy of technology within the general philosophical and cultural context of modern science. The idea of a cycle in the philosophy of technology and its connection with the Kondratiev cycles is considered by the method of comparison and search for analogies. It is shown that economic cycles are repetitive in character and the same cycles are characteristic of the technosphere.

Being-meaning in the Deconstructive Ontology of Jacques Derrida

The article deals with the problem of the ontological content of the deconstructive hermeneutics proposed by Jacques Derrida. It is demonstrated that being, recognized as the event in the late Heideggerian ontology, in the ontological perspective of deconstruction yields its place to the post-eventual being-meaning, combining the singularity with its own absence, where being could not be conceived outside the context of the possibilities of its interpretation. The article is devoted to the study, in the context of the tradition of the philosophy of science, of problems of rationality that are characteristic of the scientific research of Karl Marx. The philosophy of science is understood as a historical process and the historical result of the systematic application of the whole semantic potential of philosophy to the comprehension of the phenomenon of science, the history of science.

Mental Illness as Consequence of Social Transformations: Philosophical Interpretation of Medical-anthropological Researches

The aim of the article is the philosophical comprehension of some results of medico-anthropological research devoted to the problems of mental disorders in the context of social transformations. Following the tradition laid down by the philosophical work of Michel Foucault on the history of madness in modernity, the author proposes to continue the practice of comprehension of the most significant «fragments of insanity» in our modern world. This approach involves maintaining a dialogue with other forms of thought, including a discipline such as medical anthropology.

The article are examined issues phenomenology of the museum. The phenomenology of the museum is methodological approach in the philosophical analysis. Main subject of research is a museum exhibit for the study of which socio-philosophical approach is involved. In the article it is noted that the thing-exhibit is a necessary component of the cultural space of the museum. The author notes, that the thing of the institution of culture acquires an ontological status and own history.
