The Media in the Network Society: Outlines of a New Ruling Elite

The article is devoted to the development of media technologies and their media and their role in the creation, the functioning of modern society and the implementation of process management. The processes of communication, have taken on social significance, along with the information, allow to speak about modern society not as information, but as a network, meaning that this concept is wider.

Nondenominational Religiosity of the Russians: the Results of Questionnaires, Surveys, Interviews and Monitoring of Runet

The article is devoted to the analysis and theoretical understanding of the results of the second, practical stage of the study of the Russians’ nondenominational religiosity. Written surveys, questionnaires, interviews, monitoring of Runet have confirmed a part of our hypotheses, have refuted some of them, have made adjustments to the rest and have raised a number of new scientific issues.

Theoretical significance of Utopia has not lost its projecting importance because constant want of cardinal changes, the wish to exceed the bounds of reality and to accomplish the impossible are the known signs of Utopian thinking, discrepant and dual by itself. From the one hand, it gives hope for happiness and, being subverting in its nature, impudently, in an innovatory manner withstands and disputes the existing reality.

The Idea of Conciliarity and Its Crisis in the Period of Soviet Reality

The article provides a brief analysis of the phenomenon of «conciliarity» as a religious, spiritual, and philosophical concept, which has had a huge impact on the formation of the Russian identity. It is emphasized that conciliarity, as an inherent feature of the Russian man, is manifested in various aspects of Russian people’s life. In the present work, an analysis of theoretical understanding of conciliarity by XIX century thinkers, as well as understanding of the Russian Orthodox phenomenon by contemporary researchers is carried out.

In this article the author makes an attempt to determine the reasons for the loss of civilizational identity, coupled with the loss of the previous values and social certainty. He is trying to figure out the role played by the creative elite in shaping the cultural identification attitudes of society in modern Russia. The article traces the dynamics of formation and development of Russian identity in the transition period. Analyzes the direction and nature of the state of social dynamics.

The author reveals the main signs of cardinal changes which undergo gender very types of classical culture. The special attention in article is paid to the analysis of a wide range sociocultural a determinant which cause deep metamorphoses of genders of masculine and feminny type.

The Problem of Freedom as the Known Accidental in the Framework of Regularities: Synergetic Analysis

Freedom in synergetics meaning was defined as a specific analogue of accidental, as a factor changing the ratio of evolutionary capabilities of the system. Freedom emerges only under the super- selection’s conditions that is under the control of the subject over the variety of forms of selection and ultimately over the course of social evolution. The problem of the article partly reduces to the position that causes the debates about the freedom on the issue of known accidental.

Christianity and Science: from Autonomy to Interaction

This article is devoted to consideration of the main tendences in solving by modern western christian theologians the problem of relations between Christianity and science. Today here is elaborated a new vision on history and modern state of interrelations between science and theology. Here is stressed an injustice of statesments about their principally opposition and fixed a positive influence of Christianity on the development of European science. There is no common theologian opinion about the mode of modern interrelations between theology and science.

Phenomenological Comprehension of Philosophy of Life

In the paper an attempt is taken to comprehend a man’s world through philosophical method of phenomenology. It’s about the unity of phenomenology and philosophy of life in their ontological meaning. This approach helps search for a man’s place in the world, it helps comprehend life processes, and define values and landmarks. E. Husserl’s conception of «the vital world» is considered to become a true standard to follow. It is disclosed through the contraposition with «the world of science».

The Supreme Goal of Moral Practice in the N.G. Debolsky's Ethical Theory

The article considers the ethical concept of N. G. Debolskiy (1842– 1918), an idealist philosopher who created a system of phenomenal formalism, based on the unification of the philosophy of nature, metaphysics and ethics. Particular attention is focused on the identification of specific content and specific signs of the «supreme goal» of a person’s moral activity; reveals the hierarchy of «supreme goals» and its direct interaction with lower goals, which determines human activity.
