Reseach of the Younger Teenagers Intellectual Qualities under the Developing Effect to their Emotionally-Volitional Sphere

The interrelations between the emotional, volitional qualities and intelligence quotients of the younger teenagers are studied. During three years we carry out the experiment in diagnostics and development emotionally-volitional sphere of schoolchildren of 9?12. The correlative and factorial analysis of the received psychodiagnostic results, which was obtained before and after experiment, was used. The diagnostic and correctional-developing methods are presented.

The research reveals certain social psychological and cross-cultural psychological criteria on the basis of which a reference towards minorities as a definite social group may be performed in regards to the labour migration and ethnic migrants adaptation phenomena.

Sources of Sense Formation of Person’s Emigratory Intention

Such sources of situational sense formation of emigratory intention as motives, spiritual values, significant experience related to perception of various fairy-tale and mythological images of the local culture; stable individual methods of sense regulation in difficult situations of life are considered. The results of our empirical study of sense formation factors of the emigratory intention of students in the modern cultural and historical situation are presented.

Peculiarities of Factor Analysis in Psychology

Factor analysis appeared in the framework of resolving psychological problems has become popular in many sciences with statistical representation of experimental data. The complexity and ambiguity of its conceptual approaches make its use difficult, especially for young scientists. We have posed a task to clarify special features of difficult points in factor analysis as much as possible without any loss of mathematical accuracy.

Searching for Novel Forms of the Modern Family: a Culturalpsychological Context

The paper is devoted to the subjective significance of the family and returning the basic spiritual values and traditions to it in the modern Russian society. An original cultural-psychological typology of the modern Russian family, based on own professional experience in family consulting, is presented. The increasing spirituality is regarded as a factor of family integration and human harmony. 

A Situation: Horizons of Psychological Interpretation

The results of our psychological analysis and theoretical reflections of different conceptions and paradigms which deal with the category of situation are presented. Four primary approaches are resolved, namely: stimulus, eventually-biographical, person-centric, and subject-object ones. Each approach represents the corresponding type of situation, namely: an actual situation, a life event, a subjective situation, and a psychological situation. The application of any approach is determined by the purposes and tasks of a specific research.

Experience of Social-psychological Analysis of an Integral Conception of the World

The paper discusses the fundamental principles of the author’s approach to social-psychological analysis of collective and individual models of the world. The role and significance of four universal characteristics of the world expressed through the notions of randomness (chaos), antagonisticness, mechanisticness, and organismicness and all the relations and processes in the world that determine the evolution of the human society are considered.

Factors Promoting Children’s Vagrancy

The problem of vagrancy is discussed in its historical, sociological, and psychological aspects, primary stages of the social attitude to street children are resolved. Vagrancy is proposed to be considered as a result of the influence of several inequivalent external and internal factors. The processes of urbanization and globalization of our society, conflict situations in contacts with adults and coevals as well as the Russian social-economical crisis are analyzed as the external factors.

Tradition of Scientific Perception of Responsibility as a Psychological Construct, Phenomenon and Noumenon

Any attempt to give a scientific definition to the concept of responsibility entails certain difficulties. This concept is known to be used in different sciences (psychology, sociology, culturological theory etc.), the subject domain enveloped by it varying every time. Within the framework of various psychological leads the volume of this concept is outlined differently, its content and structure are established.
