The Dynamics of Value Orientations of the Creative Elite in a Risk Society

Abstract: 

In this article the author makes an attempt to determine the reasons for the loss of civilizational identity, coupled with the loss of the previous values and social certainty. He is trying to figure out the role played by the creative elite in shaping the cultural identification attitudes of society in modern Russia. The article traces the dynamics of formation and development of Russian identity in the transition period. Analyzes the direction and nature of the state of social dynamics. The ways of preserving the national identity and the spiritual and moral foundations. Showing how much the modern man to choose the hard life strategy without an ordered system of values. The author examines how the changing value systems in a risk society and how it manifests itself in the creative elite. The article states that in the period of change of cultural and historical paradigm, in a period of transformation and instability increases the importance of the creative elite. A special role is given to the representatives of the creative elite, which creates new value systems, traditions, norms, and ideas while maintaining a balance between old, understands the need to transform the reality by bringing rationality in social relations.
