The article explores the problem of personal self-determination in the present social situation, which is characterized by individual and collective identification crisis. The author of the article offers new ways and moral reference points for personal self-determination in a complicated dialectics of subjective freedom and public order. Personal self-determination appears as an open project allowing for various opportunities for creativity and activity.

The Relation of E. Cassirer's Theory of Myth to the «Phenomenology of Spirit» by Hegel

The article analyses the relation of E. Cassirer’s theory of myth to the «Phenomenology of Spirit» by Hegel. The original basis for the theory of mythic thought by E. Cassirer and his philosophy of symbolic forms is Hegel’s philosophy. Carrying out the historicophilosophical investigation, it’s impossible not to notice a direct connection between Cassirer’s analysis of symbolic forms and Hegel’s phenomenology of spirit – the detailed structure and architectonics of the «Philosophy of Symbolic Forms» reproduces Hegel’s dialectic to the smallest detail.

Phenomenology’s Properties of Category «I»

This article is analyze category «I» and show the its propertys. Every «I»`s property (processing, defining, myself-defining, the principle opposition) is an act and when «I» executing this act «I» executing it`s positive program. When author is analyzing this propertys, he analyzing «I» like difficult structure object. 

The Language and its Metamorphoses in Postmodernity

The Postmodern Era has been widely researched in Russia and abroad. Nevertheless, it is still debatable for both Russian and Western scholars. The problem of language and its metamorphoses has become one of the key issues in this respect. We focus on studying characteristics of the postmodern period, not taking into account its value system. Thus, based on the characteristics of postmodernity we might form an idea of the language itself in the above-mentioned period, since every concept is inevitably manifested in the language.

Formation of Ecological Consciousness: Search of the Valuable Bases

Ecological consciousness – the complete and rather new phenomenon of public consciousness which are as reflexion of intensity and a sharpness of an ecological situation, and certain expression, some kind of the indicator of serious changes of spiritual and material culture. The basic causal and internal characteristic of the given kind of consciousness is crisis situations developed in the modern world. It is the major condition of development of consciousness of the person in an ecological direction. 

Modern Philosophy: the Decline or the Development?

In the article the author bases the statement that the philosophy is a peculiar way of the comprehension of the actuality, the way that is inseparably connected with deduction and is not leaned upon the actual knowledge about the surrounding world. And the way of thinking that is inherent to the philosophy is ‘interpretative’ unlike the scientific way of thinking that can be defined as a ‘calculative’ one. The problems of the spirituality are alien to it and it impoverishes the spiritual world of a human turning him gradually into a lively thinking robot.
