Cultural Context of Education: Russia and China

Autors:
Ruchin Vladimir Alekseevich, Saratov State University
Abstract:

Culture represents a social phenomenon if we regard it from the point of its material and spiritual values, and education is a dedicated social sphere of ideal existence, related to the subject. Within its own history, education develops in such a direction and in such a force as it has the intention defining the message, aim, reflexive intentional orientation at this aspect. It is education that may reveal intentionality of consciousness: to single out the acts of thinking and their content. In other words, a man’s life starts to be grounded on new purposes, and only within this purpose - on possible aims and methods of thinking. In this situation, there happens transit from simple teaching “something” to education, not only from the point of its practical purposes, but from the point of a definite idea. Hence the transcedental meaning of education appears. It is the initial idea that fills with content and some supernatural meaning and purpose crosscultural educational context of Russia and China.
