Contemporary Russian Society and Social-philosophical Analysis of its Definition

This paper explores an operationalization of the concepts for contemporary Russian society. Drawing on theoretical frameworks of some concepts such as postmodernism, consumer society, post-industrial society the authors operationalize them. Our findings suggest that contemporary Russian society has a wide range of definitions. It is defined as post-historic, network or information society, postmodern society, etc. The set of different concepts represents Russian society and makes a definitions confusion. Such definitions should be applicable to modern Russian society.

The Problem of the End of Philosophy: Hanto-Logical Aspects

The article analyzes perspectives of developing of contemporary philosophy, and also widely discussed in recent decades problem of «the end of philosophy». So far as this problem is associated nowadays first of all with the post-modern philosophy, positions of postmodernists philosophers are examined in the article. The author concludes that contemporary philosophy can be considered as lying beyond the opposition «sunset/development», thereby it is better to talk about «the end of the end of philosophy».

The Values of the Posthuman Future: the Problem of Choice

The article is devoted to the analysis of the postmodern philosophical reflection of the problem of posthumanity, in the aspect of analyzing the interrelation between the development of robotics and the increase in tendencies to asexuality. The philosophy of postmodernism, the world view of transhumanism and the philosophical views of cyberfeminism contributed to the formation and development of a new posthumanistic value system, replacing man with some kind of asexual monster, combining a mixture of man, animal and machine.

The article is devoted to the consideration of the methods used by feminist theory for a critical study of androcentric theories of society. Despite the existence of many examples of criticism of the society theories, revealing their androcentric conditionality, no attempt has been made to analyze the methodology used in them with the potential of its capabilities to identify the androcentric component of these theories.

The Basic Question of Social Philosophy in the Mirror Modern Russian Reforms

The article deals with one of the important problems of social philosophy – the problem of the relation of social being and social consciousness. Using the conceptual framework of classical philosophy, the authors give a modern interpretation of the basic question of philosophy, and refers to the events in Russia of the late XX – early ХХI centuries. This is not by accident, since these events are truly momentous in its history. The article concludes that modernity confirms the importance and the actuality of the basic question of social philosophy.

Global in the discourse of metamodernism: The problem of origins

The article examines the representation of the global phenomenon in the discourses of modernity and metamodernity. In the domestic reception, metamodernism is often represented as post-postmodernism. A significant discrepancy in assessments of a fairly integral phenomenon of modern philosophy of culture, which is metamodernism, can be explained. The methodological guidelines of metamodernism are still in development.

The purpose of non-classical art as a philosophical problem (based on the philosophy of V. S. Solovyov, S. N. Bulgakov and N. A. Berdyaev)

Introduction. In the modern world, the problem of the purpose of art remains relevant due to the emergence of various forms of non-classical art. Modernism and postmodernism differ from classical art, therefore it is inappropriate to transfer the purpose of classical art to these movements without a deep analysis. It seems reasonable for the analysis of non-classical art to consider it through the spectacles of Russian religious philosophy. Theoretical analysis.
