Secondary vocational education in Russia: Previous challenges and new goals of state policy

Introduction. The article deals with the policy of the modern Russian state in the sphere of secondary vocational education (SVE). Theoretical analysis. Based on the analysis of sources the state of the modern system of secondary vocational education, objective conditions and contradictions of modern modification are shown. The urgency of radical transformations in the work of SVE organizations highlighted.

The paper discusses the negative effects of modern technological civilization with the installation of the mastery of nature, its transformation into commodities, which leads to uncontrolled changes as the environment, infrastructure and human activities that adversely affect human life and conditions of existence. Psychological Features of the Students Studying at Pedagogical Specialties with the Dominance of Negative Emotions in an Examination Situation

Interconnections of different psychological characteristics of a personality with features of emotional sphere becoming apparent in an examination situation were revealed. It was shown that students with different side of emotions have specific unfavorable personality psychological features.

Learning as Conversion in Classic and Christian Traditions

The article considers the option of training as an appeal to a new system of views, leading to a change in worldview and self-understanding. The idea of such a pedagogical transformation arises in antiquity, and then in its own way is rethought in Christianity, on the basis of which medieval ideas about pedagogy are formed. The development of the idea of education as a transformation, a qualitative change in the personality of the student is traced in the transition from the metaphor of “re-volution” to the concept of “conversion”.
