Philosophy of Language of Hans-Georg Gadamer and the Experience of Interpreting Works of Art

Abstract: 

The article is devoted to the historical-philosophical reconstruction of the subject on the correlation of the philosophical component of the hermeneutic understanding of language as experience the world of artistic representation in art The concept of the experience represented in art, and experience of understanding the truth reveal the essence of philosophical knowledge, surpassing the limits and boundaries of scientific knowledge. The art of cognition as contemplation of truth is set directly in the dialogues of the philosophy of idealism of Plato, and is traceable in the modern understanding of the role of language and art. An appeal to the heritage of antiquity becomes the unifying basis for modern interpretation in hermeneutics, defines criticism not only of the primacy of scientism in the opening of the unconditional knowledge, but denying the single-positivist historicism. In this perspective, the criticism of the language a special status gets aesthetic cognition is capable of opening the deep relationship of art and philosophy, which reveal the true being. Historical-philosophical analysis of criticism «aesthetics of consciousness» reveals language as a starting point in studies of the phenomenon of art in neo-Kantianism and hermeneutics philosophy. A new horizon of perception is given by p interpretation the criticism of «aesthetics of consciousness», carried out by H.-G. Gadamer based on the perception of the ideas of Paul Natorp, that generates the need for theoretical reflection in modern philosophy of language.
