War as a complex social phenomenon can be analyzed from different perspectives: it appears as a socio-political phenomenon, as a civilizational, as an existential one. Importantly on war-man, so war is perceived not only on level facts, but and in the form of way of, which represents complex views about it, including and assessment of events, and assessment of enemy, and own image. In the structure of the image of the war, the author highlights the foretypes, synchro and prototyping.

The article raises the problem of the possibility of creating a digital philosophy of history. The initial thesis of the work states the fact of the crisis of the traditional philosophy of history, the absence of meta-narratives which introduce global historiosophical concepts, and the unsuitability of the existing categorial apparatus for describing the realities of the digital world.

The article presents the process of cultural development as a continuous activity, in which the values are produced by the marketed value relevant to the world. Existential human self-determination through the material and the natural environment is shown in creating cultural forms: objects, images, concepts, relations, traditions, characters.

The author believes that historical science, existing in the paradigm of «Digital Humanities», has acquired a new object of cognition – collective memory, abandoning the study of the past as a non-existent reality in favor of the study of ideas about it. The main purpose of the study is to examine the specifics of the impact of video games on the historical memory of the Soviet past. Theoretical analysis. The study was based on the hypothesis that video games in the conditions of mediatization and digitalization of public consciousness turn into one of the significant factors in the formation of historical memory.
