The article considers the results of the research of self-injurious behaviour and correlations between self-esteem and self-injuries in informal youth subcultures.

Representations of the child about yourself begin to emerge in the process of interaction with parents, it is in the family are the foundation for a favorable or unfavorable development of selfappraisal of the child. The possibility of the relationship adolescents teenager with how positively interpreted the events emotionally close parent.

The article considers psychic self-direction of behavior, learning and professional activity of
Humanities University students from the perspective of systematic and structural approach.
A psychological model of self-direction has been provided. Self-adjustment components as well
as personality characteristics comprising self-direction of young student behavior and activities at
different stages of their studies have been considered.

Some resumes of theoretical and empirical analyses of the problem
of group subject’s self-appraisal are expounded. On the material
of students’ groups the peculiarities of the group self-appraisal in
dynamics of changes from 1 to 5 courses are discussed as well as its
possible ratio with the individual self-appraisal.
