The article covers pedagogical conditions necessary for successful formation of cross-cultural value orientations of students.

The article reveals the significance of inductive thinking development for language school learners and suggests its descriptive mode. The realization of the model is represented by the logics of its blocks. The effectiveness of the model is defined by the criteria and data demonstrating the degree of inductive thinking formation.

The article discusses a current issue of college of arts students' readiness for the professional work with gifted children. The article outlines a range of problems of gifted students in the field of music education, including difficulties in adapting to traditional teaching methods, emotional vulnerability, difficulties in communication and mutual understanding of the child with peers, and other peculiarities of the psyche.

The article deals with the discrepancy of the level of the culture of international communication to the modern demands of the development of integral processes in our society. It leads to the problem of low dynamics of person’s tolerant attitude to foreign culture. The author suggests using the foreign language teaching process as the means of the development of the tolerant attitude.
