Self-activation Factors of Students with Disabilities (by the Materials of Pilot Study)

Abstract: 

The article show the analysis of the concept of self-activation of the personality with disabilities (HIA), and show results of research the self-activation’s factors of the students with HIA. It was clarified, the self-activation of the personality means psychological activation, containing a perception, an appraisal, an analysis to external signals (environmental conditions, examples of important people), containing their internal processing to adopt and accept the most of valuable and meaningful for oneself. For personality, it be able to manage oneself on the basis of inner potential and hardiness (the positive perception of life and internal picture of the disease, one’s activities to solve educational, residential and professional problems, to be a person, who know one’s limitations and who confident of one’s abilities). The article revealed the factors of contributing to the self-activation of students with disabilities and the HIA. The external factors (clear examples of important people can become to ideals of activity, sociability, self-discipline, the sphere of education); the internal factors: the desire for self-realization, the positive attitude and zest for life.
