Means of Providing Innovative Linguistic Didactics in Teaching Foreign Languages in the Digitalization Era
Psychological features of the representatives of the modern “digital generation”, as well as digitalization of education give rise to disputes in modern psychology and linguistic didactics about the need for widespread use of digital technologies in the learning process. In this regard, the purpose of the article is to consider the features, advantages and disadvantages of the use of computer training programs of different types, as well as the possibility of their usage as an innovative tool of linguistic didactics. In existing works, these problems are usually considered in relation to certain types of communicative activity. In this article, the existing computer tools are presented as a system that can provide mastery of different levels of the language system and different types of communication activities. This fact determines the novelty of the presented analysis. The basis of the methodological approach in the work is the systematic approach and the descriptive method. Teaching and utilitarian computer programs were differentiated. The expediency and effectiveness of the use in the educational process of the former (taking into the fact that they are based on didactic principles of learning, psychophysiological foundations of perception and formation of memory mechanisms), and the negative impact of the latter on the development of skills and abilities of implementation of such a type of communicative activity as reading and translation were explained.
