Professional training of future specialists in public administration to work in the conditions of innovative public administration

Abstract: 

The article is devoted to the study of professional training of future specialists in public administration to work in the conditions of innovative public administration. The purpose of the article is to determine the features of specialists in public administration in the framework of new management models. The analysis of such models as “new state (public) management” (New Public Management), “good Government” (Good Governance), project management, and “electronic government” (e-government) is presented and the problems of their implementation in public authorities determined by the professional competence of specialists are described. The indicators and conditions of effective professional activity of specialists in the field of public administration within the framework of the designated management models are highlighted. The article presents the abilities, skills, and competencies necessary for future specialists to carry out activities in innovative public administration. Attention is focused on the need of developing professionally important qualities of future specialists that contribute to the effectiveness of innovative professional activities. In this regard, the structure of professionally important qualities necessary for successful professional activity in innovative public administration is presented. As a solution to the problem of training modern specialists, it is proposed to create a pedagogical model for the formation of professional readiness of future specialists in the field of public administration.
