The Formation of Non-Linear Dynamical Picture of World

In the article are considered the problems of formation of non-linear
dynamical picture of the world. The basic concepts, involved in
formation of non-linear dynamical picture of the world, are described.
The methodological and philosophical significance of the nonlinear
dynamic picture of the world are investigated.

Randomness in Natural Science

The article gives brief review of concepts of category of randomness, represented in natural science on three stages of scientific cognition – classical, non-classical and post-non-classical. Ontology and epistemology provide the context of philosophical comprehension of the problem.

Determinism and the problem of actual future

Introduction. This article raises the question of the role of determinism in the formation of the Thin Red Line hypothesis. This hypothesis is one of the few branches of logic which address the problems of determinism and actual future. The author considers how certain logical and philosophical preconditions led to the formation of the Thin Red Line hypothesis as a compatibilist view, according to which in the presence of an open branched future that provides indeterminism, one can argue that the future is in some way directed toward actual history.
