The Problem of the Nature of «Self» in Russian Philosophy

In article the concepts of «self», stated in works of N. Lossky, S. Franc and L. Lopatin are critically considered. Arguments against the idea of transcendence of «self» in relation to the phenomenal content of the consciousness, contained in N. Lossky and S. Frank’s works, are stated. The position of L. Lopatin, assuming immanence of the «self» to consciousness contents, is supported.

Symbolic Nature of Consciousness in the Aspect of Creativity

The article deals with the problem of the essential characteristics of consciousness. It is impossible to comprehend the premise of creativity without understanding that. Consciousness can be represented only in the context of potential. The activity of consciousness is a new qualitative state of mind which is defined as thinking. This article examines the phenomenological structure of various types of thinking: rational, instrumental, irrational, magical, aesthetic, and ethical. The modalities of consciousness that determine the development of a particular way of thinking, as well as the conditions and forms of their disclosure in different social and cultural conditions of social reproduction are revealed. The author shows the significance and direction of development of the phenomenology of irrational thinking in the context of modern socio-political realities of Russia.

The aim of the work is a comparative analysis of scientific and technical rationality based on the study of the foundations of science, technology and paradigms.

While connecting social philosophy with ontology the ontological foundations of the institutional person are opening new unexplored strata of the creation thus greatly broadening the horizons of a scientific research. Using the rational synthesis of religious and scientific world outlook, "mechanical" principles of self-organization of a material world are supplemented by consciousness the forms of which are intrinsic not only to a person.

Freedom and Responsibility in the Context of Consciousness Evolution: Synergetic Analysis

The main subject of the article includes the characteristics of the evolution of consciousness and culture in general from the standpoint of the synergetic philosophy of history exploring the evolution of complex socio-cultural systems, the processes of selforganization at the phenomena level (non-equilibrium, bifurcation) and at the level of essence (selection, super-selection).
