Theoretical and methodological problems of psychological support for coping with events of the Special Military Operation and their solutions

Abstract: 

The introduction highlights the topicality of theoretical and methodological basis for providing psychological support for coping with events of the Special Military Operation. The section that describes characteristics and types of overcoming events of the ongoing Special Military Operation suggests their differentiation depending on subject involvement in the Special Military Operation, degrees of terminality of experience and the matter of essential existential feelings. The analysis of the theoretical and methodological problems of psychological support for coping with events of the Special Military Operation aims at the most urgent scientific and ideological issues of searching for meaning in life, solving contradictions between personal and social interests, assessing normativity of prosocial terminal behavior types, and designing the model of hierarchical systemic organization of a personality and self-regulation processes in the conditions of coping with extreme life situations. The ways of tackling theoretical and methodological problems of psychological support for surviving events of the Special Military Operation given in the article are in the first place, connected with S. L. Frank’s philosophical psychology and psychtechnical potential of J. L. Moreno’s psychodrama. The conclusion provides the results of the analysis of theoretical and methodological problems of psychological support for coping with events of the Special Military Operation and their solutions.
