Correlation between Emotional Intelligence and Tolerance for Uncertainty of HIV-Infected Convicts
The article reviews the research results of correlation between emotional intelligence and tolerance for uncertainty in convicts with comorbid pathology (HIV and TB). The following methods were used: The Questionnaire on Emotional Intelligence EmIn (D. V. Lyusin), The New Questionnaire of Tolerance for Uncertainty (T. V. Kornilova). Conclusion: HIV-infected convicts with TB significantly differ from the control group in understanding emotions and interpersonal emotional intelligence. The following statistically significant correlation between emotional intelligence and tolerance-intolerance for uncertainty was found: high emotional intelligence is correlated with high tolerance and intolerance for uncertainty, whereas high intolerance to interpersonal uncertainty is correlated with low emotional intelligence.
