The impact of gamification processes on the militarization of the younger generation
Introduction. The issue of the impact of gamification on socio-psychological processes against the background of intensive digitalization of society’s life over the past few years has aroused increased interest in various academic fields, including the study of the phenomenon of militarization of the younger generation. An analysis of current socio-psychological processes indicates the penetration of gamification into various spheres of society, the effects of which have a specific impact on the younger generation. Theoretical analysis. The article describes the socio-psychological mechanisms of militarization of youth by means of gamification. Threats related to both general negative factors of the digital environment and specific psychological effects are revealed. A socio-psychological analysis of the role of gamification in the militarization of the consciousness of the younger generation indicates that it is a powerful tool that can be used both constructively and destructively. Conclusion. In the context of the constructive militarization of the younger generation, it is possible to consider directed gamification, the task of which is to minimize the risks of negative consequences and maximize the effects of gamification on the education and upbringing of the younger generation. Constructive implementation involves maintaining a healthy balance between the virtual and the real, stimulating and encouraging the participation of the younger generation in real social interaction, sports, and creativity.
