Introduction. The relevance of the study of predictors of subjective feeling of social support in patients with ulcer disease lies in the development of the concept of internal picture of the disease of somatic patients. Theoretical analysis. Social-psychological coping strategies, being a part of the internal picture of the disease, constitute a significant and insufficiently studied area.
