Digital control and the problem of freedom in the information society

Introduction. This article examines the problem of digital control as a tool for coercion and manipulation of citizens, depriving them of freedom and personal space. The use of digital technologies not only facilitates communication and business processes but also serves as a source of continuous collecting information about all actions of digital users. Theoretical analysis. The study identified three levels of digital control: initial, basic, and total, each one with varying degrees of impact on individuals.
