Tensometric Investigation Into the Peculiarities of Functioning of the Perceptional and Emotional Spheres of a Learner

The article describes the results of the study that aimed at establishing the psychological features of the relationship between the accuracy of tactile perception and the features of the functioning of the emotional sphere of students. The study involved 120 subjects aged 5–50. The hypothesis predicting that the accuracy of the tactile perception and the emotional status of the students are interrelated was confirmed in the the study. The direct average correlation was established, with a significance level of 0.66 (Pearson coefficient). Strain gauging measurements were carried out with an instrument designed for this purpose. The instrument makes it possible to fix the error when reproducing a sample specified by the researcher. Specific features of the accuracy of stimulus reproduction in different psychoemotional states were established: active wakefulness and psychoemotional arousal. The state of psychoemotional excitement reduces the accuracy of perception of the students who do not do sports systematically. The rated athletes demonstrate a higher level of stress resistance and accuracy of stimulus reproduction. The parameters of the accuracy of stimulus reproduction of the left (not dominant) hand of the subject in the state of active wakefulness can be used as an express diagnosis of the level of tension of the psychoemotional state. Evaluation of the severity of psychoemotional stress was made with the help of the correlation coefficient of errors of the right and left hands of the subjects. The coefficient “tending” to zero reflects a high level of selfregulation and self-control, while the one “tending” to unity and higher, on the contrary, shows a low level of self-control and self-regulation.
